Where is my head?

What is going on with me? on monday I mixed angie and nic's folders and I sent them with the wrong kid, then Angie had to dress in red and I sent her to school in black..... I had to bring her a red shirt, that was kind of embarazing... then today I forgot Angie's lunch!!!! The people at angie's school office must think I am crazy!

Pumpkin farm

On saturday after the pictures we went to a pumpkin farm with our crossroads church friends. It was a lot of fun!!

This was a really cool pumpkin farm they had: Llamas, hay rides, pumpkins, apple sling shots, corn maze, pig races, giant sand box, moon walk, train ride...........it was really fun.

Family pictures

First of all I want to thank GOD for my beautiful family! I feel so blessed!

On Saturday October 11th we had My sister Monica take our family pictures, I think they turned out pretty good, the weather was really nice and I love the fall colors.

My cute kids! Santiago didn't want to sit... he wanted to be up running, Nic wanted to make weird faces it was not very easy taking their picture, but over all I am happy that they behaved enough to get some pictures.

My cute Angie, Everyone says that she looks just like me...

Sometimes I still can't believe that I am a mom, Isn't that weird? It's like I read on someone's blog "I feel like I'm playing house". I love it though My children are such a big blessing.

I can't believe that we have a teenager in the house! time goes by sooo fast I remember when Alex was Angie's age Ohh my that is so crazy!!!!!

For grandparents' day at school grandmas and grandpas where invited to read a book to the class, I told Angie that my parents had to work and they couldn't go and of course Scott's parents living in Michigan would have a hard time coming to read a book to Angie's class; well angie was very disspointed because the kids got to sit by their grandma or grandpa while they read and they got a picture taken together so she talked to her teacher for my mom to go to school and read in Spanish because according to Angie, my mom doesn't speak English. So my mom went to read to the class and she read a book in Spanish and Angie got to be the translator by reading the same book in English, for Angie this was a great experience, she loved having my mom there, it was really cute! anyway so my sister asked the teacher at what level of reading it Angie so she can buy her some books for her birthday and the teacher said that she is at a 3rd grade level.... that is soo cool, Again I say I am so glad that she loves reading, reading is so much fun!

Bible Study

Exercise!!!!!! Eat healthy!!!!! that is what I have to do this next two weeks as my bible study homework, we studied discipline tonight and we decided to try to be disciplined starting on one area in our lives and be held accountable to the other Bible study members..... I think is a great idea what a good way to start a disciplined life than have your friends ask you how you are doing and if you are doing what you said you were going to do! I am really exited to work on that.

Scott decided he wanted to work on being a good teacher to the kids, reading the bible and doing little bible studies with them, leading by example I guess trying to show more fruits of the Spirit. I really need to pray that this next two weeks God helps us keep on track with the things that we all decided to do, because I know that without Him I can't do it, I really would rather sit and watch t.v or watch the kids play or even clean the house rather than exercise, and I would prefer to eat a brownie rather than an apple or things like that! I know for a fact that when I discipline myself and do this things I feel a lot better, I have more energy, I am in a better mood, I even want to..... with Scott :) OK maybe too much information; so why is it that is so easy to stop doing something that is SO good for you and you have experience some of the good results??????? I don't know, Laziness I guess.



Lord help me be committed to this and give me the desire to stick to what I started!

Poor Santi

Today while I was giving Nic a shower, Santiago was walking around the bathroom, trying to climb into the bathtub, I tried to say no numerous times but really how many 16 month olds listen to the word no, so in one of those times that he was by the bathtub he fell and hit his mouth against it, as soon as I heard the thud I new right away that he was really hurt, I picked him up and instantly his mouth was full of blood, I acted very calm (surprisingly for me) and I went to the sink to rinse his mouth while Nic was freezing his tushy off, so I had Santi screaming with pain and Nic crying for a towel, so I reached for Nic's towel while rinsing a mouth full of blood (talk about multitasking), finally after I saw that the blood wasn't stopping I grabbed a towel to put some pressure on his lip and he of course hated that, I felt that I was torturing my son after he just got hurt, anyway he has a big swollen lip with a cut on the outside and a cut on the inside that shows how all his bottom teeth got jammed in his lip.
On a different note, this afternoon I took the kids to the Dentist, they really love going there its a really cool place and Dr. Marchi is really nice, the only thing that really bothers me is how much we have to pay $365.00 for a dentist visit is a lot of money, I guess I keep thinking that if I don't take them it could get a lot more expesive so I am just trying to prevent rather than cure.

Scott on the NEWS

Today was an interesting day, I guess I would say one of a kind.... Scott was on the news tonight, on two different channels, channel 12 and channel 4, they were reporting about his lottery site http://www.sheboyganlotto.com/, now he is a big celebrity in our house.....the kids said... Daddy was on T.V! I don't know if I am going to like all the people asking for autographs now :) His news report video is on www.wisn.com/video/17621659/?taf=mil , He thinks he looks like a dork, I think is hard to see yourself on t.v, I think he looks good, he looked nervous but good. I hope this is all for the good of the business and that things don't get twisted on the wrong direction... good thing God is in control of our lives and as He says "I know the plans I have for you, to prosper and not to harm you", what a feeling of peace to know that, God is an awesome God!

Anyway changing topics today was also a very sweet day I must say, we had our friends Dave, Stacy and kids come over and we had Ice cream sundays..... we had custumized sundays, we each got to add whatever toppings we wanted to our ice cream , the toppings included:

• M&Ms
• Reeces peaces
• Hot fudge
• Bananas
• Cheries
• Fall sprincles (really cute ones)
• Wip cream
• Mini marshmallows
• Strawberry Marshmallows
• Chocolate chip cookies
• Peanut butter cookies

Oh my goodnes that is a really long list..... they were REALLY good though, I don't think I have ever let my kids eat that much candy all at once, Angie asked if she was going to get sick from eating all that :)... I hope not!

we played a compatability game and I found out that Stacy and Dave are very compatable (since they won) and on the other hand Scott and I..................well let's just say we lost! :( good thing it's just a game, Right? :)

Now that I think about it, today has been a looooooonnnnnnggggg day, I just realized I even went and had lunch with Angie at school, I didn't think I was still on the same day, no wonder why I am so tired, so what am I doing on the computer so late? I better post this now otherwise it;s going to be posted on the next day since is almost midnight. the time is a little messed up though.
